Well Control Incidents: Causes, Solutions and Prevention

This short course is aimed at beginners, non-specialists or just those looking for a refresher. This practical and highly interactive one day session takes a hypothetical well control incident, based on real industry reports, and asks the group to explore how it happened, the implications, and what can be learned from it including the examination of human factor issues and leadership challenges.

Delegates will gain an understanding of assessing incidents in terms of their causes and impact, the sequence of events that can lead to a well control incident, and the lessons that can be learned from such incidents.
