Abstracts deadline extended for SPE ICoTA Well Intervention Conference

Posted on 28/Jul/2016

There's still time to submit your abstract for the 22nd SPE ICoTA Well Intervention Conference.

The Conference will take place from the 8th to the 10th of November at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre.

The conference will follow the theme of 'Extending the life of the North Sea through cost effective well intervention solutions', including the importance of innovation and collaboration, along with cost reduction and maximising production safely, to ensure the future success of the industry.

If you are engaged in well intervention, take the opportunity to present to a relevant audience with representatives from the Operators and major service companies, including BP, ConocoPhillips, TAQA, Statoil, Marathon, NOV, Halliburton, Shell and Baker Hughes.

Brenda Wyllie of Oil & Gas Authority, who will continue to support the conference in 2016, commented:

“OGA is proud to once again support the SPE ICoTA Well Intervention Conference. The Conference provides a valuable forum for operators and service companies to come together to discuss developments and case studies from all areas of well intervention, with speakers presenting to a relevant and highly engaged audience.  It is our hope that delegates take key messages back into their organisations to improve their future work plans.
"It is more important than ever for the industry to innovate and collaborate, and as part of this it is fundamental for companies to share their successes, as well as the lessons which can be learned. It is only by working together that we can move forward and extend the life of the North Sea through cost effective well intervention solutions.”

The abstracts deadline has been extended. View the conference page to submit your abstract online or contact us for more information.
