New Chair Appointed for ICoTA European Chapter

Posted on 04/Mar/2016

Elliot Kinch, Business Development Manager for Interwell UK, has been appointed as the new chair of the ICoTA European Chapter.

Elliot, who takes up his appointment this month, has served on the ICoTA Europe committee for two years.

With over 22 years of oil and gas industry experience, Elliot has vast offshore experience in well intervention, completions and intelligent completions operations, with knowledge and understanding in the subsea sector.

Commenting on his appointment, Elliot said,

“I'm delighted to take on this role for 2016-17. Having been involved with ICoTA for a number of years, I strongly believe that it’s a very valuable forum for sharing knowledge which should benefit everyone who works in our industry.
To support this I will be encouraging greater co-operation & collaboration between operators and service companies, and similar not-for-profit oil and gas member funded organisations. This will be facilitated by ICoTA’s committee members and ambassadors who all have vast knowledge and experience in the sector.
Due to the current operating climate, our focus will be in identifying opportunities to produce, in a cost-sensitive environment, through innovation while ensuring that safety is not compromised.”
