Mark Oatey

Mark Oatey is SeniorManager – Well Integrity & Interventions at Harbour Energy, based inAberdeen. He leads delivery across a broad portfolio of well intervention,integrity and late-life operations on the UK Continental Shelf, supporting bothproduction optimisation and safe, efficient decommissioning.

With extensiveexperience across subsea and platform wells, Mark has worked across the fulllifecycle of assets—from intervention planning and execution through to late‑lifestrategy and plug & abandonment programmes. He is particularly focusedon integrating well integrity, intervention and decommissioning approaches toimprove delivery efficiency and reduce risk in mature basin environments.

Mark plays an activerole in shaping intervention strategy across Harbour’s UK assets and is astrong advocate for collaboration within the supply chain to address thetechnical and commercial challenges of the North Sea’s late‑life phase.
