Celebrating excellence in the well intervention industry, the prize is awarded to a service company or operator that has pushed the boundaries of well intervention technology.
Judges will be looking for a technological application which can be either new technology or an existing technology used in an innovative way. Award entries must show value to the industry in reducing risk, increasing recovery, improving safety, minimising environmental impact, and/or diversifying well intervention technology for use outside the traditional oil and gas industry.
The 2025 Winners were Hunting for their groundbreaking Opti-TEK Slickline Tubing Cutter. First deployed in 2024, this technology represents a true step-change in downhole cutting - improving crew safety, simplifying logistics and reducing operational downtime.
Entries are judged by the Committee of the ICoTA European Chapter. The criteria and guidelines for entries are as follows:
